Myspace comments width smaller?

i need help making my comments td's smaller

i am pretty HTML/CSS savvy, and i have tried EVERYTHING that i can thing of, like changing the width of the table and the td, but nothing changed (in firefox, it changed in IE)

any suggestions?

did you try putting !important after the attribute?

(like this: width: 300px !important; )
